corner view "end of my street"

I spent all day yesterday thinking it was Monday. So technically in my reality, today is Tuesday... When I realized it was Wednesday I had to think quickly (not one of my strengths), so I grabbed my camera and shot these while out with Coco this morning.

1. One end of my street
2. The other end.
3. Coco´s favorite park (the university campus).
4. On our way back.
5. We always cut through the train station.
6. On our way back from the post office.

Thank you Daan for this great idea! Next week´s theme is "From where I´m sitting." (I know I just posted this, but now it´s your turn.)
Happy Corner Viewing!

P.S. Now that I have my days straight, Coco will make it to band practice on time...

from where i´m sitting...

Jorge and I had breakfast out on a terrace this morning. He read the newspaper and I played eye spy...
I´m expecting another crazy week. I´ll be around to visit at a snail´s pace. Keep the coffee warm.
Happy week my friends.

corner view "collections"

(Just yesterday...)

This week´s CV is "collections" and was suggested by the lovely Francesca. Personally, I don´t collect things. Probably, because I live in a home with only three closets. Daniel, on the other hand, is a regular pack rat. I never know what I´m going to find in his pockets. I remember when he was about 6 I found some stones in his pocket that had just gone through the wash. I told him, in my "angry" mommy voice, "Daniel I just washed stones that were in your pocket!" To which he responded, in his sweet innocent voice, "Thank you mommy." and skipped off.... (Yes, it still makes me laugh.)

Next week´s theme comes from Daan and is "The end of your street". Thanks Daan!

And a big shout out to Joyce for keeping CV running smoothly in my absence! Thank you my friend!

Happy Corner View!

el fin...

This is the last one. Hope you enjoyed the little glimpse of Mexico. We had a wonderful time filled with family, laughter, food... oh! the food... "cola piñadas", sun, crystal clear waters, fish (if you want my opinion, too many in those crystal clear waters...) ruins, and overwhelming kindness.
Why is it that the most humble countries, always seem to be the most content?...
I´m still on my break... next stop Africa. (I love saying that.)

P.S. The above picture is of my beautiful sister-in-law and her sweet husband.

P.P.S. In Mexico you are greeted with a big smile and a hand on the heart. A simple gesture that brightens your mood instantly. So I´m sending you all big hugs and kisses with my hand on my heart.

I knew a girl who was blue. So she painted her world pink. xoxo
